Workflow platforms that connect apps and run automations without a custom build.
I use Make for the links between your tools: a new form entry, booking or email starts a scenario that updates the CRM, fills in a sheet or sends a message. Routers and filters handle the different cases, error handlers retry or skip a failed step, and where a step needs more than a scenario should carry, Make calls the code I build through a webhook.
Scenarios are visual, so you can see every path the data takes and change a simple step yourself. Make hosts everything, so there are no servers to maintain, and choosing the EU data centre keeps customer data in Europe. Small workflows are cheap to run, though every module action uses a credit, so long scenarios that run often are worth checking against the alternatives.
A custom webhook starts a scenario the moment data arrives, and a webhook response can send a result back to the caller. Apps without webhooks are checked on a schedule.
Routers split a scenario into paths and filters decide which data passes. Error handlers retry, skip or stop a failed step, and incomplete runs can be stored and resumed.
Agents with instructions, knowledge and tools. A tool can be a single module, a whole scenario or an MCP tool from outside Make.
Turns scenarios into tools that AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini can run, on every plan.
JavaScript or Python inside a scenario, on paid plans. It is billed by run time, at two credits per second.
Manage scenarios, connections and webhooks from code, or build a custom app for a tool Make doesn’t support yet.
A new lead, booking or order in one tool creates or updates records in the others.
Form submissions and lead ads are checked, deduplicated and added to HubSpot, Pipedrive or a sheet.
Routers and filters send each request down its own path, by topic, value or region.
A Make AI agent reads incoming messages, looks things up in your apps and drafts or sends the reply.
Orders, contacts or stock levels are copied between tools every few minutes or overnight.
When an app is down, the run is saved and retried later instead of losing the data.
